What We Do

Students for International Development (SID) works to reduce global poverty by engaging university students and young professionals in hands-on, project-based internships in extremely poor communities around the world. Our international volunteer programs support ambitious and independent young leaders who seek a platform for social impact through serious community-level projects.

We still have a few positions available for Summer 2019!

Volunteer Voices

The experience and responsibility SID provided me during this internship was intensive and demanding, but it was also extremely liberating, and highly rewarding, helping me grow both professionally and personally. The hardest part about the internship? Leaving. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
